UKRAINIAN NATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL
The Second Annual National Film Festival of Wartime Documentaries
Supported by the President of Ukraine, the Ukrainian National Film Festival “Cinema for Victory” was launched at the initiative of the Ukrainian State Film Agency, a film festival of films made during the Russian-Ukrainian war.
The main objectives – to maintain attention to the war in Ukraine, to document Russia's crimes against Ukrainians, and to honor documentary filmmakers who use cinema to prove the need for strong and lasting support for Ukraine by international partners.
The goal of the «CINEMA FOR VICTORY» in 2025 is to popularize documentary films created during the Russian-Ukrainian war.

FUTURE PLANS
In the long term, Cinema for Victory aims to become a world-renowned platform for documentaries about war and its aftermath. The festival serves as a platform for discussing historical events, humanitarian efforts and peacekeeping, with the aim of creating lasting connections between veterans, witnesses, filmmakers and audiences.
This vision includes expanded international collaboration and a diverse selection of films that resonate with a global audience. The festival is important for supporting the documentary genre, strengthening the cultural status and image of Ukraine. It contributes to strengthening interaction and cooperation between Ukraine and the world, especially in the field of cinema.
